Cartier Tank Solo Small ref W5200005 is celebrated in many watch collecting circles for its modest approach to the classic Tank silhouette.  Like the rest of the series it features two paralleled brancards to form the lugs but with a modest pared-down design set for the entry-level collector or watch enthusiast in the market for an understated Cartier watch. Ref. W5200005 is a stainless steel 31MM x 24MM  model. it features a reliable quartz movement a classic Roman numeral dial with blued sword-shaped hands a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal the famous Cartier beaded crown decorated with a blue synthetic cabochon and a supple leather strap.

Cartier Tank Basculante ref W1011158 is a fascinating edition of the broader Tank collection because it features a vertical flipping case hence the model name which translates to "seesaw" or "tipper."  It works via a convenient "cabriolet" system developed by Spécialités Horlogères that allows the wearer to flip the watch face upside down to reveal the case back by pulling on the blue cabochon tab at 12 o'clock. This design was initially meant to protect the watch during sports and was developed by the same company as the famous Reverso Jaeger-LeCoultre. In fact the original model was released in 1933 just one year after the Reverso came to market. The aptly named "cabriolet" (a French term for convertible) can also remain upright essentially turning the watch into a tiny desk clock.  Production was intermittent until around a decade ago when the watch also commonly called the Tank Cabriolet or Reversible Basculante was finally discontinued.  We have a remarkable example for sale here today in stainless steel featuring a 22MM x 25MM case and a quartz movement.

Cartier Pasha De Cartier ref WSPA0027 exhibits a somewhat unorthodox design ethos that goes beyond traditional watchmaking. It sports a conventional round case like many other brands but with design elements that are distinctly Cartier such as shoulder-style lugs and a crown and pushers adorned with synthetic spinels.  The crown features a unique canteen-style crown cap further adding to this watch's fascinating design.  Ref. WSPA0027 is a stainless steel model with a striking slate guilloche tri-compax dial.  The center features a subtle square silhouette with branches that extend outward to each luminescent hour marker - a design element we can only assume was done to add dimension to the watch and increase legibility.

Santos de Cartier Watch ref WSSA0037 (2022) provides the contemporary wrist-wearing experience many collectors are after these days without forsaking the collection's enduring and instantly recognizable design codes.  The case has the familiar square shape introduced over a century ago via the original Santos watch and is decorated with similar screw embellishments around the bezel.  Furthermore the case is adorned with the brand's trademark cabochon crown and the dial displays the time via prominent Roman numeral hour markers and sword-shaped hands.  What makes this model particularly special is the striking ADLC bezel matching grey dial and black synthetic cabochon on the crown. Ref. WSSA0037 is a large model Cartier with an automatic 1847 MC movement a sapphire crystal and a steel bracelet with a "SmartLink" adjustment system.

Cartier Ballon Bleu ref W2BB0023 is a striking interpretation of the classic round watch that features the crown tucked inside a bubble in the bezel.  Both functional and visually striking this design sets the Cartier Ballon Bleu apart from other round watches on the market and exudes a certain ethereal charm many collectors will find irresistible.  Cartier has released many editions of the watch since it was developed in 2007 including the gorgeous steel and rose gold model for sale here.  Features include an approachable 33mm case a silvered guilloche dial decorated with Roman numerals scratch-resistant sapphire and an automatic mechanical movement.

Cartier Pasha ref 2324 (1997) pairs a classically elegant round case with non-traditional design elements such as shoulder lugs and a canteen-style crown cap.  At the same time it is unmistakably Cartier.  The dial is still decorated with the famous chemin de fer minute track and distinctive sword-shaped hands.  This model also features Breguet hour markers a date display at 4:30 and a lovely pink sunburst dial with luminescent material. The 35mm case is outfitted with a durable scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and houses the caliber 049 self-winding mechanical movement.
