Patek Philippe Gondolo ref 5098R-001 (2019) is an art deco masterpiece. It evokes a sense of nostalgia with its exquisite tonneau-shaped case and Breguet-style Arabic hour markers. The retro design language doesn’t come as much of a surprise though because the Gondolo collection traditionally houses the brand’s non-round watches and is known for taking inspiration from many of the most important historical models from Patek Philippe’s past.
