Omega Speedmaster ’57 ref is a newer upgrade of the collection which Omega initially released in 2013. One of the most notable 2022 upgrades includes the case which now measures 40.5mm in diameter and 13.2mm tall compared to previous editions with a 41.5mm case and a 16.5mm profile. It’s much flatter on the wrist although it still takes up a similar amount of space on the wrist as previous models. This example has the inherently vintage look of the original 1957 Speedy with “broad arrow” hands while incorporating modern design elements such as white Super-LumiNova a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and newer caliber 9906 self-winding Master Chronometer movement with a Co-Axial escapement.
