Rolex Submariner has picked up a few charming nicknames since coming to market in 2020 inspired by its unique black and green colorway including the Rolex Starbucks and Rolex Kermit.  Kermit is among the most fascinating because  revives the original green Rolex Submariner which is also called the "Kermit " by pairing the bezel with a sharp black dial.  However while the 5-digit model featured an aluminum bezel this modern masterpiece sports ceramic.  Its immediate predecessor the Rolex Hulk also featured a green ceramic bezel but with a matching green dial.  is the only model in the series to sport a green ceramic bezel and a black dial.  Furthermore it has an upgraded 41mm case and a caliber of 3235 Perpetual movement.  Outward aesthetics aside this Rolex is a classic diver with a uni-directional bezel long-lasting Chromalight and a Triplock screw-down crown with water resistance up to 1 000 feet.

Rolex Datejust 41  is the current-production Oystersteel model.  Released in 2017 it features every modern watchmaking technology available to the Rolex portfolio including the caliber 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve and anti-shock and anti-magnetic properties longer-lasting Chromalight a Twinlock screw-down crown with two waterproof sealed zones and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.  Rolex produces several variations including those on an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet and several dial color options.
