Rolex GMT-Master II Ref 16760 Fat Lady

Original price was: $12,857.36.Current price is: $285.00.

GMT Master II ref 16760 (1986) was the first reference in the upgraded GMT Master II collection. When it debuted in the 1980s ref. 16760 brought with it a then-new movement with an independent 24-hour hand. By uncoupling this hand from the other centrally-mounted hands the wearer can essentially read up to three time zones. This innovation had room for improvement evident with the noticeably thicker case to house the thicker movement. Rolex would eventually replace this model with the long-running and slimmed-down ref. 16710. However this model remains incredibly sought-after and collectible because of its "curvier" silhouette and its place in GMT Master II history.
