The Patek Philippe Aquanaut is now available with a chronograph movement via ref. 5968A-001. The innovative caliber CH 28-520 C boasts everything one could ever hope for in a modern chronograph including automatic winding a date mechanism and a Flyback function. As one would expect the chronograph pushers flanking the case only add to the sleek aesthetic of the contemporary Aquanaut collection. Reference 5968A-001 also features a black embossed dial decorated with white gold applied hour markers and hands a vibrant orange minute track a matching orange chronograph seconds hand and a matching 60-minute sub-dial. Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref 5164A (2013). The collection was released in the late 1990s featuring a design heavily inspired by its cousin the Nautilus but with a slightly more "young" and approachable design set.  It features a similar case shape as the Nautilus including an octagonal bezel but with a "Tropical" rubber strap and a square motif on the dial. Ref. 5164A is a travel time model with two pushers on the left side of the case - the top pusher advances the hour hand while the bottom pusher moves it back allowing the wearer to sync with local time effortlessly.  When the hour hand moves it reveals a skeletonized hour hand underneath to hold the place of home time.  It's a simple and fascinating complication that makes the already desirable Aquanaut even more collection-worthy.

Patek Philippe released the first Aquanaut watch in 1997 in stainless steel. Reference 5168G-001 is the unofficial 20th-anniversary edition Patek released in 2017 to celebrate two decades since the collection hit the market. It boasts a white gold case worn on a sporty rubber bracelet decorated in a similar design as the embossed dial. The dial itself features a lovely blue hue that almost appears to radiate from its center. It also features luminous Arabic hour markers central hands and a date mechanism at the 3-hour marker. Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref 5167A-001 (2016) is one of the hottest watches on the secondary market. At 40.8mm in diameter and just over 8mm thick it makes a bold statement on the wrist while maintaining a sleek profile. It features a very desirable stainless steel case Patek's signature embossed dial and a black composite black strap decorated in a similar pattern as the dial. The Patek Philippe Aquanaut is a cornerstone of the brand's sports watch collection that has been in production for well over twenty years. The ref. 5065 that you see here today is a handsome example of the line that includes a stunning black embosses dial topped with Arabic hour markers central sweep hands a date mechanism at the 3-hour marker and luminous plots above each hour marker. The case is supremely comfortable measuring 38mm in diameter and just 8mm thick and wears on a supple rubber strap bracelet secured by a double fold clasp. Discontinued Patek ref. 5065 is a desirable stainless steel edition of the series complete with a sharp black embossed dial luminous Arabic hour markers and the Aquanaut collection's trademark "Tropical" composite black strap secured by a Patek butterfly clasp.
