Omega Speedmaster ’57 ref 331.92.42.51.04.001 was a long-awaited model when it debuted several years ago because it was among the first under 44mm Speedys to sport the caliber 9300. Aptly named the Speedmaster ’57 it also has a perfectly vintage-inspired design set featuring straight lugs a “BASE 1000” bezel without an aluminum insert no crown guards and retro-style hands. Additionally the vintage muse for the modern model was a hand-wound watch with a tri-compax dial. Ref. 331.92.42.51.04.001 is powered by the self-winding caliber 9300 with a bi-compax dial.
