Omega Seamaster Railmaster ref 220.12.40.20.06.001 (2020) is a modern re-imagination of the original 1957 Railmaster developed for railroad workers and other professionals who spend time around electrical fields. The result is an incredibly capable watch with a sophisticated and practical aesthetic. The dial pays homage to the original model the most featuring a striking brushed finish and “vintage” Super-LumiNova in the hands and recessed hour markers. The Railmaster logo is presented in matching beige to drive home the neo-vintage design of the watch. At the same time this Omega is afforded many modern design elements such as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and the Master Chronometer caliber 8806 self-winding mechanical movement with a 55-hour power reserve and anti-magnetism up to 15 000 gauss.
