Rolex Sea-Dweller 126660 Deepsea D-Blue Dial
Rolex Sea-Dweller is outfitted with the latest calibre 3235 perpetual movement new lugs and a new style bracelet to better accommodate the Oysterlock clasp and tool-free Glidelock system. The movement now boasts a 70-hour power reserve a Chronergy Escapement and accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day bringing it up to speed with the brand's newest generation of sports watches. The collection is outfitted with a titanium case back a Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones a thicker sapphire crystal without the usually-present Cyclops lens and an innovative Helium Escape Valve (HEV) at the 9-hour markers for the ultimate in water resistance. As a deep saturation diver the used Rolex 126660 also boasts a unidirectional bezel for a safe reading and highly visible Chromalight.

Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea is a coveted edition of the famous James Cameron Rolex. As the story goes the famed director dove into the Mariana Trench in 2012 with a Rolex prototype strapped to his submersible. To celebrate the historic dive and Rolex's watchmaking prowess the brand released a special D-Blue edition of the deep saturation diver. The dial's blue gradient resembles how light travels through the water during dives.

Rolex Deepsea is the latest iteration of the iconic deep saturation diver. Like its predecessors boasts an incredible depth rating of up to 12 800 feet/3 900 meters. Of course it also includes various upgrades due to Rolex's never-ending quest for perfection. The bezel is slightly thinner and the calendar display is larger. Additionally Rolex has removed the dive watch extension from the clasp which essentially allowed the clasp to expand to fit over wet suits. This is also the first model Rolex has released with the branding "RLX" titanium on the case back the Big Crown's moniker for their proprietary flexible titanium finish. The model is famously waterproof up to 12 800 feet which it can attribute to the addition of a Helium Escape Valve and a Triplock waterproof screw-down crown. The Helium Escape Valve aka HEV allows the gasses that accumulate within the case during decompression to escape while keeping the crystal over the dial intact.
