Chronograph

Cartier Pasha De Cartier ref WSPA0027 exhibits a somewhat unorthodox design ethos that goes beyond traditional watchmaking. It sports a conventional round case like many other brands but with design elements that are distinctly Cartier such as shoulder-style lugs and a crown and pushers adorned with synthetic spinels.  The crown features a unique canteen-style crown cap further adding to this watch's fascinating design.  Ref. WSPA0027 is a stainless steel model with a striking slate guilloche tri-compax dial.  The center features a subtle square silhouette with branches that extend outward to each luminescent hour marker - a design element we can only assume was done to add dimension to the watch and increase legibility.

Cartier Ballon Bleu Extra-Large ref W6920002 (2013) combines the iconic aesthetic of the Ballon Bleu with a robust case and a chronograph movement.  The result is a Cartier with immense wrist presence unlike anything else in your luxury watch collection. True to its name the XL model measures 44mm in diameter approximately 15mm tall and just 47mm from lug to lug.  Shorter lugs and a supple leather strap that drops sharply away from the case can accommodate a broad range of wrist sizes despite the larger dimensions.  And then there's that iconic balloon crown tucked inside the bezel which features Cartier's signature cabochon.  Sleek pushers flank either side of the crown while the dial is decorated with a duo of accompanying sub-dials and a tiny date display. Of course the dial is also adorned with the French Maison's iconic Roman numeral hour markers and sword-shaped hands.
