Rolex GMT-Master II ref 116713 (2006 - 2007) was the first two-tone model to sport a ceramic bezel; previously the iconic pilot's watch was outfitted with an aluminum bezel. With this upgrade comes a different bezel mounting that operates on 24 clicks instead of 120 and a lustrous and much more resilient ceramic "Cerachrom" insert. When Rolex introduced the first 6-digit generation it also upgraded the crystal with an anti-reflective Cyclops magnifier and outfitted the watch with a then-new caliber 3186 movement with improved anti-magnetic properties. This model has since been discontinued in favor of the current 1267XX generation making it desirable among collectors.
