Rolex Sea-Dweller is an extension of the iconic Submariner diver's watch. Both feature a similar design set with a waterproof case uni-directional time-lapse bezel and self-winding movement. What sets this model apart from the Submariner is the Helium Escape Valve built into the case. This feature allows the gasses that accumulate within the case during deep saturation dives to escape without dislodging the crystal over the dial thus maintaining the integrity of the case up to 4 000 feet.
