Rolex Sea-Dweller  came to market in 2018.  It features a new case and bracelet design as well as a Rolex calibre 3235 movement. The latest generation in Rolex movements the calibre 3235 hosts an impressive list of upgrades including accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day a 70-hour power reserve and a Chronergy escapement. The new bracelet features a wider stance on the wrist thanks to the addition of a new clasp. To better accommodate the new width of the bracelet the case has been outfitted with fatter lugs. The James Cameron Rolex Deep Sea boasts the most resistance of any diver in the Rolex catalog; an impressive 12 800 feet a feat that is accomplished thanks in large part to the addition of a Helium Escape Valve (HEV).

Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea  boasts an innovative design that allows it to withstand the pressures of up to 12 800 feet below the ocean's surface via a Triplock screw-down crown with three waterproof zones a Titanium screw-down case back a thicker 5mm sapphire crystal and a Ring Command System. The case is also equipped with a Helium Escape Valve which slowly releases the gases that accumulate within the case as the wearer performs deep saturation dives. This vital feature keeps the crystal intact thus allowing the wearer to dive deeper than ever before.
