Additionally the lugs are slightly larger (22mm compared to its 21mm predecessor) and the crown guards are somewhat thinner. Each refinement to the Rolex Explorer II is a testament to Rolex's dedication to perfecting its pillar models over time without compromising each collection's core DNA.

Rolex Air-King ref 114210 (2007 - 2008) hails from the 1142XX series which came to market around the mid-2000s and continued production until 2014 when Rolex briefly discontinued the collection. Compared to its 5-digit predecessors ref. 114210 sports more solid end links and has a chronometer-rated movement as indicated on the dial with the distinction "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified."
