Platinum

Rolex Day-Date II  is a highly prized collector's item and not just because it's an exclusive platinum model.  Measuring 41mm in diameter ref. 218206 is the largest edition of the President's Watch ever produced.  It was notably replaced by the current-production 40mm series in 2015 making the secondary market your only option if you prefer the unique size and aesthetic of the 41mm series.  Furthermore Rolex recently transitioned from smooth platinum bezels to the fluted variety.  You won't find this configuration with the smooth bezel and unique black concentric dial with matching Arabic numerals in the current Rolex portfolio adding even further to the watch's exclusivity.  The President bracelet with rounded links and the duo of calendar windows on the dial remind us that this unique piece of Rolex history is an iconic Day-Date through and through.
